Wool and Wire / 23" high / Hand Painted and Felted Wings, 7"/Shepherd Crook 18" high

I created Marigold for a sheep festival I participated in -Spring 07. Marigold's legs are those of a sheep and he has an image on his shirt of a beautiful little dairy lamb. His dreadlock hair could belong to a sheep or llama or possibly even an alpaca, but his wings and body allow him to fly over them all and look after their Shepherd keeper while he is tending his flock. His small wings allow him to rest easily anywhere and his hands and fingers are fully articulated so he can hold his magic shepherd crook and assist his shepherd when needed.
