Wool and Wire / 36 inches high / Hand Painted Wings 12 inches/ Artificial Flower Crown

The Wise Faerie was created to fulfill an artistic requirement in earning my Waldorf Teacher Certification. She is an older (wiser) faerie with worn wings and this faerie has become my website inspiration and guardian.

She is made of many colors of wool and her clothing ends at the knees and elbows in ruffles of green leaves. She flies about freely on large wings and her legs are long and dramatically striped. Her tiny hands are fully articulated so she can touch and hold small things. Her long hair falls wildly all around her and is topped by a crown of flowers, berries and leaves with just a touch of iridescence.
