Each batt of clean carded wool weighs 1 pound. This is enough wool to do many projects. It needle felts beautifully and will impart human-like warmth when used to stuff doll forms. It unfolds into a very thin layer making it an ideal natural filling for any sewing or quilting project. I use it to shape the underlying form of my felted wool sculptures.
